We Belong To One Another

When we buy into the illusion of separateness, we let division win.

When we can no longer understand one another, we are forgetting we actually belong to one another.

When we surround ourselves with myths and narratives about “the other”, we create a world that is too small.

Its exclusivity only allows people that look like us, talk like us, think like us, believe like us. The stories we perpetuate are where we give our power.

We are being asked, right now, however difficult…to remember:

No matter what, our destinies are intertwined.

Now, more than ever, we need each other to be the best versions of ourselves.

Our individual healing contributes to collective healing.

We create and contribute to that which is happening around us, constantly.

Compassion can help us get to places we never thought possible: a bridge home.

The work is never done, but there is always hope.

A prayer: that we remember, constantly, that I belong to you and you belong to me and we belong to each other.

No matter what
