On Intuition

Have you ever had that experience where something happened and you knew it would before it did? You can’t explain how you knew, but you just had this niggling feeling…a flash of a thought crossed your mind, a dream that came to pass, a gut instinct? You think of someone and they text you, you go to answer your phone and you already know who is calling, you have a hunch and it proves to be true. This is our intuition, our psychic ability, our third eye. Everyone has intuition. Everyone has the ability to be intuitive. It isn’t something we learn, it is something we remember.

It comes in different forms. Some people can receive messages through feeling empathically – emotionally or physically (clairsentience). Some people hear things (clairaudience), some people just know things – claircognizance, while some people are clairvoyant, they have an inner seeing, like a scene or vision played out within the psychic mind. Some people are gifted with all four and some are uniquely suited to one.

  • Clairvoyance: Clear seeing
  • Clairsentience: Clear feeling
  • Clairaudience: Clear hearing
  • Claircognizance: Clear knowing

I believe we all have the ability to nurture these gifts within us and when we do so, they serve us well. All too often we doubt ourselves and our abilities, we dismiss them as crazy, as pure coincidence. The more we learn to listen and honor the subtle whispers of our gifts, the stronger they become. The more we acknowledge them, the more they serve us. It is a reciprocity.

I believe that tapping into these gifts is a journey of de-conditioning and re-programming. Sadly, most of us are not taught about these gifts, let alone led to believe they are real. There is a fear around things we don’t understand. The fear is only an invitation to expand, to learn, to lean in. When we give our power away by trusting sources outside of us we learn painful yet valuable lessons. It takes intentional effort to trust ourselves, to believe that we know our own version of what is best for us.

When we make the commitment to follow the tugging of our soul and our intuition, even if it doesn’t make sense (especially when it doesn’t make sense), when society would have us do otherwise – this is the space of trust. A venture of risk that comes with great reward.

The truth is you are infinitely wise.

You are insanely gifted.

You are profoundly powerful.

The truth is you already have everything you need and you always will.

On this life long journey of remembering who we came here to be; I honor the beautiful way your intuition will lead you to exactly where you are meant to be.

Just trust and let your intuition do the rest.
